This magnificent pre-Civil War mansion, circa 1859, is a tribute to Southern plantation architecture. The inn features antique period furniture, hand-woven Victorian era rugs and a square grand piano.
The ballroom, now a parlor for guests, boasts twin fireplaces and pier mirrors. Nineteen acres of grounds are beautifully landscaped and feature azaleas, boxwoods and many varieties of trees. There are 8 guest rooms at the Bed & Breakfast and a full gourmet breakfast is included with your stay. Merry Sherwood Plantation is an excellent location for weddings and small meetings and special events.
