Application
Requirements: Completion of the application form with the required license and vaccination information listed. All dogs are required to have both a current dog license issued by a municipality and a current rabies vaccination certificate from a licensed veterinarian. Additionally, each applicant will be required to read the “Rules & Regulations” and then sign the “Acceptance of Risk & Release of Liability Waiver Form”.
A proof of residency or property ownership will be required for a resident pass.
Dog Pass
Access Cards: Ocean City has one dog playground that is divided into 2 sections. There is a small dog area for dogs 28 pounds and under. There is also a large dog area for dogs over 28 pounds. The access cards will allow you to gain entry to the appropriate dog area during the scheduled hours of operation. The access pass issued will allow unlimited usage of the Ocean City Dog Playground located in Ocean City, Maryland from dawn to dusk, seven (7) days a week, weather & conditions permitting. Please note that cards are non-transferable.
Price: Effective November 13, 2007 the Town established the following price for the purchase of an access card. Revenue generated from the Dog Pass sales will be utilized to offset general site maintenance and operating expenses. An Ocean City property owner may register under the resident rate.
- 2008 Ocean City Resident Annual Pass - $50 ($5 for each additional dog)
- 2008 Non-Resident Annual Pass - $100 ($5 for each additional dog)
- 2008 Seven (7) Day Access Pass - $15.00 Note: this “Dog Pass” is intended for those individuals who wish to utilize the Playground for a one week or limited duration only ($5 for each additional dog)
Payment: Payments shall be in the form of cash, check or credit card. All checks should be made payable to The Town Of Ocean City. All fees shall be Non-Refundable.
The “Dog-Pass” access cards are reusable and we ask that the weekly cardholders return their access cards at the end of their stay to help us offset annual park operating expenses. Once the cards are returned, the holder will receive a $5.00 refund from the Town Of Ocean City. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process and will only be issued in the form of a check; no cash refunds, sorry.
Applications & Filing for Pass: Applications and Passes may be obtained from the Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department front desk located at 200 125th, Ocean City, Md 21842, Monday - Friday with the exception of legal municipal holidays from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
