Event Type: Festivals and Fairs
ALL ORIGINAL TICKETS PURCHASED AT THE OC CONVENTION CENTER WILL BE HONORED ON OCTOBER 30-31.
The twin forces of Hurricane Joaquin and the no-name nor'easter may have flooded Ocean City and postponed Wine on the Beach, but with the water receding and plenty of beautiful fall weather left, the event has been rescheduled for October 30-31, 2015. More good news -- there is still plenty of sand, too.
Ocean City is nothing if not resilient and the vineyards are still eager to meet wine enthusiasts and educate them about their wares. There will still be plenty of variety in vintners, craft breweries, and Delmarva delicacies. Please check the webpage at www.winefest.com for updated information and special promotions. Masks and brooms welcome.
Tickets are on sale at the Convention Center until Thursday, October 29.
If you cannot attend on Oct 30-31, refunds for tickets for the original date, Oct 2-3, that were purchased at the Convention Center (numbered 1-500) can be refunded at the Convention Center from October 9-23. If you are unable to come in for a refund, you may mail your tickets to Sharon Bradford, Ocean City Convention Center, 4001 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842, and your refund will be mailed to you.
Wineries from the East Coast, micro-brewed beers, Delmarva cuisine, quality arts & crafts, and local and regional live music will be focal points of this year's event. The festival will be open Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In addition to the vast array of wine offerings, there will be several vendors offering an array of International cuisine. There will be several arts & crafts vendors and micro-brewed beers for purchase. Popular local recording artists, including "Bird Dog and the Road Kings" will provide relaxing music during the days of the festival.
Tickets for the festival are $35, which includes one-day admission, commemorative wine glass, and wine tasting sample coupons. Tickets may be purchased at the gate. Children ages 13-20 are $15. Children 12 and under are free. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
Sorry, no pets, picnic baskets, coolers, or outside beverages.

Winefest is an awesome event, featuring wineries from all over the region and country. Along with the focus on wine, there are arts, crafts, food and fun for the entire family to enjoy. It is a early autumn gem in Ocean City.

This is a great way to sample some new wine, and in years past, they have had beer there too! The best time to attend the festival if you are looking to avoid crowds is early in the day Friday.

The perfect way to spend a fall day at the beach. Plenty of different wines to sample, breads and cheeses to enjoy while listening to the live music on the sand. We've enjoyed it year after year, and I now have a nice collection of wine glasses!
