DISABLED: Beach Access, Beach Wheelchairs:Access to the beach for the physically challenged is provided at certain locations along the beach and is designated by a blue sign on street entrances along Coastal Highway. Beach Access:Inlet Beach, Somerset St., Talbot St., BEACH WHEELCHAIRBeach wheelchairs are provided on the beach at certain locations by the Town of Ocean City from Memorial Day Beach Wheelchair locations are subject to change pending availability. US Airways offers regularly scheduled flights to and from Philadelphia and Charlotte. For US Airways reservations: 800-428-4322. Salisbury-Ocean City Regional Airport: 410-548-4827. RECYCLE THE OCEAN CITY WAYWhile enjoying your visit to Ocean City, please note our motto; "OCEAN CITY RECYCLES-BECAUSE WE CARE." Please recycle your aluminum, glass, cardboard, paper, plastic and bi-metal can products. We have five recycling drop-off sites (with designated containers) conveniently located around town where you can recycle your commodities. They are open 24 hours a day. Glass products no longer have to be color-sorted. We also have a designated waste oil tank for your convenience, located under the water tower at 66th street and bayside. Even while relaxing on the beach, you can recycle your aluminum products. Just look for the bright green barrels. They are located adjacent to the head of each street. The Recycling Center at 65th Street also accepts newspaper, cardboard, office paper/computer paper, motor oil and used antifreeze. Ocean City also offers a bulk pickup program to its residents. For information call 510-524-0391. Ocean City offers curb-side and condo-side recycling to all residents of Ocean City. We also have a paper recycling program that is extended to all businesses.
