A 60 minute grace period is in place at the inlet parking lot. In addition, handicap parking spaces are located near the beach as well as the boardwalk.  However, if the length of the time spent in the parking lot is 61 minutes or more, you will have to pay for the entire time spent in the parking lot.

Handicap parking is free anywhere else in the city with a 4 hour time limit.

Handicapped parking is free in all municipal parking lots EXCEPT for the Hugh T. Cropper inlet parking lot. The inlet lot offers a 60-minute grace period for free dropoff an pickup of handicapped people. Your vehicle needs to clearly display valid handicapped credentials to park for free and avoid a ticket (license plate, placard, or similar).

Hey Insiders! Out-of-the-box question for you. Is there a business in Ocean City that will rent bed linens for a week? We're wondering if we can get away with not packing sheets! Thanks!

I would suggest parking at the inlet lot which would put you close to food, shops and restrooms.

Yes. You must be 60 or older.

A Senior Resident Bus Pass is available to Ocean City residents and property owners 60 years of age and over. This pass permits unlimited passage on Ocean City public transit buses, ADA Paratransit services (if qualified), and Boardwalk Trams from 11am to 4pm on non-holiday dates and $1.00 off the Tram fare at all other times. The pass is not applicable for Medical Appointment Transportation (MEDTRN) services. The cost of the Senior Resident Bus Pass is $7.00 and is valid for two years. The pass can be obtained at City Hall, 3rd Street & Baltimore Ave, Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30a.m., excluding holidays. All applications for Resident Senior Bus Passes and renewals require proof of age, residency, or property ownership such as an Ocean City tax bill or driver’s license with an Ocean City address. For additional information call the City Hall receptionist at 410-289-8221.

You can get chicken necks at nearly any grocery store in town. Acme, Food Lion, and maybe even some of the places that sell bait.

I am visiting OC during Bikefest. I'm wondering where the best place is to park a bike trailer? I'm staying near the Inlet. Thanks!

First I would contact where your staying to see if there is room at your hotel's parking lot. Second you can obtain a parking permit to park on city streets where allowed except Baltimore Ave. Information for that can be found here at OCBikefest.

Also there is a pay lot on 100th st and that information can be found here.

Are inflatable rafts allowed on the beach or in the water? If so, will local stores blow them up or should we expect to bring a pump. Thanks!

Some small rafts are allowed, but it's at the lifeguard's discretion, and depends upon the water conditions. I don't know of any stores that would blow it up for you, so either bring a pump or someone with a lot of blowing power.

Anything special going on this weekend (July 21-23) in Ocean City? Thanks!

There will be a movie on the beach on 27th St. on the 21st.  The movie is The BFG .  Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy.  And it's college weekend, so it may be more crowded than usual around town.  There is also Sundaes in the Park at Northside Park on 125th St. Free concert, and you can make your own sundae for a small fee.  Always fun.
