About Me: The beach is my FAVORITE place to be. I have been to beaches all over the place...Florida, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, but OC still tops my list as my favorite place to go. In my pre-mommy life I used to teach fourth and fifth grade, and then preschoolers how to use computers and now I am enjoying being a mom to daughter Emily and focusing on starting a business with Usborne Books and More. I am very excited about being an Insider and helping people plan their vacations...kind of a natural next step as I have become known as Ms. OC to many family and friends for over a decade.
Times Visited Ocean City: Too many to count.
What do you love about Ocean City: The magical feeling of being at the beach for me is akin to that feeling you get on Christmas Eve that all is right in the world. My favorites have changed over the years...when I was a child, riding the waves in on a raft, the roller coaster at the end of the boardwalk, and Dumsers ice cream sundaes topped the list. Now; relaxing on the beach; enjoying an ocean view Clarion breakfast or a Harrison's dinner, a drink at Seacrets, strolling the boardwalk, watching my four year old's first experiences (last summer it was putt putt!) top my list. Oh, OK, I will admit it...the Dumser's ice cream still tops my list too. :) The cool thing about OC is a lot of places stay the same and become traditions, so when I see that roller coaster or have a Dumser's sundae it is like taking a step back to my childhood.

Q: I'm looking for a hotel/ motel with a pool and multiple rooms to book june 4th through 7th. I would like it to be on or near boardwalk. Any ideas?
A:
To piggyback on Darlene, some condo buildings with fantastic amenities are the Golden Sands, Capri, Quay, Plaza, Pyramid, Century I, and the English Towers. Please bear in mind that updates to decor and such vary tremendously by owner, so I highly recommend going to one of the sites that was suggested and look at pictures on individual units before making a decision.
As for hotels....these are my favorites: The Princess Royale, the Holiday Inns on 17th and 67th St., the Stowaway, and the Clarion. All of these are oceanfront on the boardwalk with the exception of the Clarion and Princess Royale. Those are located in northern OC, about a fifteen minute drive from all the action on the boardwalk.

Q: Are there any senior week HOUSES or apartments still availabe? I'd prefer somewhere between 20th and 110th street. For the week of June 2nd to June 9th.
A: There is an entire facebook page devoted to senior week in OC, MD, you may want to consider liking their page for deals during this week.
