Most Recent Answer Q: I'm currently attempting to sell my house and move to the OC area. My question is about property taxes. I keep getting told to move to DE for the savings but is there a huge difference if I wanted to move to OC or Ocean Pines? I figure if I'm going to move to the beach, I want to do it right and not end up too far inland. Can someone tell me the differences between moving to MD or DE. I know DE has no sales tax but what else is different between the states?
Q: Myself, son and wife, daughter and 3 children, 4,3,and 2 are looking to rent a 3 bedroom condo for the week of 9/11 to 9/18/10. Will there be enough to do to keep the attention of the children? They are not overly fond of the ocean...but Grandma is!

But there is definitely plenty to do - OC is really becoming a year round resort with many places (restraunts, attractions, shopping, etc.) remaining open all year with limited operational hours.
As for the beach, it never closes so yes you can definitely enjoy the beach and ocean (weather permitting). Can't guarantee the ocean temp - but the beach will be less crowded. Just remember there will be no lifeguards so plan accordingly and keep a cell phone readily available just in case.
Have a wonderful vacation!
