We are looking to travel to OCMD for the first time. 4 adults, and three children ages 2 to 6. Want to stay in resort on the beach close to boardwalk and rides. Looking for family friendly resort with suites including a kitchen. One week in August. Suggestions please?

I enjoy Quality Inn Boardwalk on 16th Street and Boardwalk, also Spinnaker on 18th and Boardwalk is nice.

My daughter's favorite is the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites on 17th.  The rooms are large, plenty of space to play, great outdoor pools with a kids area.

With that said, my personal choices would be Holiday Inn Suites, Quality Inn Boardwalk and then Spinnaker just due to the amenities at each hotel.

Thank you,
Anna G.

There are so many to choose from. And no matter where you stay on the boardwalk, the rides and games are easy to get to either by foot or by the boardwalk tram that runs daily up and down the boards.
I really like the Holiday Inn and Suites on 17th St.  It's a wonderful hotel, huge suites with a separate living area, kitchen area, and bedroom area. They have so many ammenities, and a large children's pool area.

As Anna said, the Holiday Inn Suites, Quality Inn Boardwalk the Spinnaker are excellent choices.  If your budget allows, the Hilton is the nicest hotel in Ocean City and has outstanding accomodations... at an outstanding price.

Also you might want to consider a condo unit for your stay. Yes the Holiday Inn and Hilton are very nice but very expensive. Ocean City is very easy to navigate from place to place so location is not a big issue. Condo units can be easier on the wallet and provide the same if not more than a hotel room. Coldwell banker is a great place to start your search, www.cbvacations.com.
