Three couple in their 30s are looking for a hotel (mid-priced) that do not attract families with kids. Can you recommend any?
Any mid-priced hotel that has pools and is on the beach will have families who choose to stay there. Some that are less likely to attract families are:
Seacrets Entertainmet Complex has an onsite hotel that does not cater to a family crowd.

Talbot St. Inn does not have a pool so less attractive to families.

The Dunes Manor is a bit more quiet and does attract more adults.

Which nice hotels have availability for July 2 and 3?
I know from searching for myself that Castle in the Sand and The Hilton have rooms available. They are probably booking pretty fast though, OC is a popular spot on the 4th.
Also check out: www.ocisfree.com you can plug your dates in and a list of available hotels will pop up!

We have two adults and two children in our family... daughter is 10, son is 7. Would like to stay somewhat upscale in OC. Nice to have a pool(s) for the kids, walking distance to the boardwalk. We are definitely not motel folks... need something a few notches up. Ideas ?
1. Holiday Inn Suites located on 17th Street and Boardwalk. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Can't say enough about this hotel, their staff, and amenities.
2. Princess Royale located on 91st and Beach. My family loves this hotel. Older than the other two listed, but we have stayed here several times and love going back.
3. Hilton located on 32nd and Beach. I have not stayed at this location personally so placed behind the two locations I have personal knowledge; however several other Insiders have and stated it was great.
Hope this gives you a couple suggestions!

I was wondering what location is best for four 23 year olds. Close to bars and entertainment that draws a younger crowd.
Seacrets of course, and they have their own rentals/hotel.
The other location is near the Inlet and all the bars/entertainment in that area (Cork Bar, Bahama Mama's, De Lazy Lizard, etc.).
A couple hotel suggestions for Inlet area would be Tideland's Caribbean, Paradise Plaza, Quality Inn, Beach Plaza Hotel, or Monte Carlo.
Thank you,
Anna G.

What will be the cheapest motel we can get by the beach side?
The Sahara Motel is pretty cheap and right on the boardwalk. I've stayed there several times, it's outdated but they keep it clean. The West building has the cheapest rates because it's not oecean view.
The Thunderbird is another hotel which has cheap rates but, I've never stayed there before. I've never heard anything bad about it either. You can search thier availability through www.ococean.com

Looking for a nice inexpensive room for 3adts and 1child, 10years old, this weekend jul 2 - 4 2nts.
Please help - near boardwalk would be great!
Check out www.ocisfree.com and book through their site. You may be eligible for FREE certificates to compliment your vacation.
Second, check out Thunderbird Beach Motel. Older, but well maintained motel. Close to many attractions, beach, boardwalk, restaurants, and on-site pool!
Thank you,

I have a 6 year old pekingese that I would like totake with us to the ocean. How do I find a hotel or motel that accepts dogs? We would like to stay 2-4 days, late july early august. Some place close the boardwalk.
During the summer dogs (except guide dogs) are not allowed on the beach or the boardwalk. This law is fairly strictly enforced.
There are several pet friendly properties in OC. Here are a few:
I believe the only one on the boardwalk is the Safari Hotel at 13th Street (http://www.safarimotel.net)
Clarion Fontainebleau - Ocean front, 101st Street. This is a great large property with lots of amenities. Most of the rooms are ocean and bay view (http://www.clarionoc.com/)
Barefoot Mailman - Ocean block on 35th Street (http://www.barefootmailman.com/)
Windjammer Apartments - Ocean front, 46th Street. A nice older property with studio, 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR apartments. I stayed there for many years. (http://www.ocwindjammer.com/)
Dogs are not allowed on the OC beach or boardwalk or beach from 1 May to 30 September. There is a dog park at 94th Street. You can get more info about it here: http://ococean.com/things-to-do/oc-local-parks-and-playgrounds/ocean-city-dog-playground
Dogs are allowed in certain areas of the beach at the Assateague National Seashore, but not Assateague State Park. Here is the info from the National Seashore website:
Pets are permitted in the Maryland portion of the National Seashore. All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.
Pets are completely prohibited in the following areas:
- all backcountry campsites
- nature trails
- lifeguard-protected beach
- north of the State Park to the Ocean City inlet
- the entire Virginia portion of Assateague Island*

Trying to find accommodations for 12 students and 3 adults for 1 night July 30 that are stopping on way home from a mission trip in NC. Walking distance to a beach
First, what a great way for students to spend their summer! Giving back....Thank you to the school, sponsors, and chaperones!
Honestly finding large accommodations for one night in summer will be difficult. I recommend checking www.vrbo.com or www.craigslist.com for available units and ask the owner(s) if they are willing to permit one night. This may be an option especially if the unit is sitting vacant.
The other option is to contact the smaller hotels in the area (ie Sun & Fun) which may offer one (1) night accommodations. You will have several rooms however.
Thank you,
Anna G.

There is a building next to a 7-eleven,with roses across the street, the something bull on the corner and the beach right outside located I wanna say 94th street.I stayed there back in 2007 and was wondering the building's name so that I could look into staying there again with some friends?
The 9400 Building, which most condos are oceanside because of the building layout.
Flying Cloud, oceanfront as well off 94th Street.
Pyramid, which is shaped like a pyramid and sits oceanfront off 95th Street.
The Plaza, which has a parking garage and realtor signs out front and sits across from Rose's.
There are several oceanside/front condos in this area so hard to pinpoint the exact one, but I hope this provides a start in your search.
Thank you,

I am planning on coming to OC in August with 3 other people. We need a little help finding a place to stay; we are on a tight budget but want a decent place to stay, close to the beach. I am in an online college so it'd be awesome to get a place with wifi. Any suggestions?
First, check out www.ocean-city.com to search for hotels. Next look at Thunderbird Beach Motel. They offer wifi, outdoor pool, and is 1/2 block to beach, 4 blocks to boardwalk, and short walk to many attractions and restaurants.
We stayed there last year and enjoyed our stay, rooms are dated and small, but immaculate and the staff is wonderful.
In addition, they offer a pre-check in and post-checkout shower and changing facilities so you can make the most of your time in OC.
Thank you,
Anna G.
