Parrot Bay Condos rents a condo called Blue Lagoon. They only own/rent 2 of the 6 condos anymore and the others are owned by someone else. I'm looking for the contact person for those other rooms. Any information would be helpful.

Check out this website, http://www.bringfido.com/lodging/city/ocean_city_md_us/, it provides a complete listing as well as map so you can determine the hotel's location.

Our favorite is Barefoot Mailman because it is close to the beach and owned by the same family that operates Castle in the Sand.

Don't forget to check out www.ocisfree.com to book your hotel as you may be eligible for FREE certificates for local restaurants, activities and attractions.

We are going to be visiting OC next weekend. Trying to decide if we should stay on the boardwalk or somewhere else. Are shops and amusements open on the boardwalk this time of year?

There is no bad location in OC because everything is easily accessible.  There are shops and restaurants and arcades open (indoor rides are open, but geared for smaller children), some simply for the weekend (but solely based on the weather).

A few hotel favorites of my family:  Holiday Inn Suites, Carousel, Princess Royale, Tideland's Caribbean, and Clarion.

Don't forget if you book through www.ocisfree.com you may be eligible for FREE certificates for local restaurants, attractions and activities.  These are great to stretch your vacation budget!

Where is the best place to stay if you want a lot of nightlife and party atmosphere for a mid-30's aged crowd? Room for 6-12 is ideal but don't want to be a quiet area.

I would recommend mid-town (30th - 60th Street), close to Seacrets, Fager's Island, and Dead Freddie's.

If you are looking for something to house 6-12 people, recommend a condo.  Contact any of the local vacation rental agencies (my personal favorite is Coldwell Banker and Breezy Kammermaier) and provide your specifics, ie dates, bedrooms, baths, location, budget, etc.  They will provide listing of available units which meet or exceed all your needs.

Thank you,

It's in the Northern Part of town.  The boardwalk runs from the Inlet to 27th St.  Your condo is on 95th St.

The Clarion and the Safari are two. You can find more at www.bringfido.com .
Please be aware however that dogs are not permitted on the boardwalk or the beach between May 1 and October 1 and dogs must be on a leash at all times. There is a dog park located at 94th St. You will need a permit from the city in order to use it. http://oceancitymd.gov/Recreation_and_Parks/dogplayground.html

If it's only for a weekend, you will probably prefer a hotel, but if you're considering a condo, they offer what is called a "mini week" rental.

Hey! I'm looking for housing for the summer 2012 in Ocean City, MD. If you know anything or if you could help me with that please contact me. Thanks!

Highly recommend checking the local papers (like Maryland Dispatch) as well as contacting a local vacation rental agency for assistance.  In addition to the weekly rentals, many offer monthly or seasonal housing.

If you are going to have a summer job, check with your employer as well.  Many offer housing options for their summer staff.

Have a great summer!

We would like to bring a group from our company down for a long weekend of golfing in September. Family members (non-golfers) will be along. Will there be any festivals/special events in September that would be of interest to them, or that we might want to reschedule around?

Two big dates for September you want to be aware of and they are
Bike Week (September 13-16)
Many bike riders and their bikes venture into OC that weekend and if your into that its fun, I've been going 4 yrs straight now. It will be loud with multiple locations of bike vendors selling bike gear to novelty items all weekend. Plenty of bands, beer, stunt shows and a wild time.

Sunfest (September 20-23)
A quieter atmosphere with arts and crafts, food, big top tents, bluegrass music and so on.

Have Fun.
