I hope you can help. My wife and I 64 and 66 have been coming down to OC for about 8 years or more. We used to stay at the Santa Maria before it was torn down. Then we decided to move next door to the Harrison Hall. We loved the big porch with the rocking chairs.  Does anyone know of any other hotels with a front porch with rocking chairs along the boardwalk like those. We really do like the porch with the rocking chairs, and I am guessing any oceanview rooms with a balcony are much higher in price.

I am not positive about a place on the boards with rocking chairs other than the place you have already stayed at. I doknow that last summer, the Hilton (ocean front) had rocking chairs . I am not positive if they do this year or not but I am sure you could find out.

Has anyone stayed at the Sunset Island resort? With my son I was thinking of staying at a condo this year instead of a hotel and this place looks amazing. However I can't figure out actually where it is located in my mind. I knowit is 67th street but by what?

You are correct is it on 67th street. It really isn't by anything since it's a gated 37 acre community. Check out this website, it may prove to be very helpful to you. http://www.sunsetislandrentals.com/

Hi, My fiancee and I are considering honeymooning at a place on 123rd street from June 7th to June 14th. We're 31-year-old adults looking for quiet relaxation, but a friend told us that there is something called beach week that will fill up the area with loud teenagers at that time. Is this true? Thanks for any information, Rob

It's true. It's senior week, but it's not as bad as it sounds. The majority of the kids will be frequenting the boardwalk and beach. 123rd St. is on the way upper end of Ocean City. Plus the kids don't frequent the nicer restaurants, so you should be safe there too. I wouldn't let it keep you away.

All the hotels and motels will be open and there are hundreds. I suggest the Spinnaker Motel on 18th street or the Sahara on 19th. Both are well kept clean properties with little cafes and a friendly staff. The number for the Spinnaker is 1-800-638-3244 and for the Sahara it is 1 800 787 2183. Have a wonderful time.

I'm trying to find a good place for me and my friends to stay for senior week. It will be six people and we want to have at least 2 bedrooms. We want to leave either the 6th or 7th of June and stay for a week. But a lot of places don't rent out to grads. We also want an afforable price. Does anybody have any reccomdations?
