I was thinking about taking my family for winterfest, but was wondering if most resturants are closed? I was thinking Phillips or Nicks or any of the child friendly/ popular ones. Also wondering about mini golf. Thanks.

If you are coming on a weekend, you will be pleasantly surprised at everything that is open. Phillips will be open...at least the one on 141st Street is open on weekends. The food is very good. Old Pro at 68th St. has an indoor mini golf course that is open year round. Have fun and dress warm!
I would like to verify the dates that you will be having the St Patricks parade and vendors for 2011. I know it's usually the weekend before but I did not see anything listed so I didn't want to make flight hotel reservations until I confirm the dates. Thank you

We are down every year for the St. Pat's festivities as well. It's always the weekend before St. Patrick's Day, unless it falls on a Saturday. So the 2011 dates should be March 12, 2011.
I am looking at the events for Sunday during Sun Fest and it saids the Beatlemania concert is free. Do u know where the concert will be held and is there seating or not? tahnks

The Beatlemania concert is indeed free and will be held at the inlet parking lot area. When you get to Sunfest, there is an outdoor seating area and and indoor seating are (tent). The Sunfest Guides will direct you to where each of the concerts are being performed. The concert starts at 4:30 pm on Sunday the 26th.
It is busy. Of course if the weather is bad, it's less. But you won't have a terribly hard time with parking and there are still hotels available. And if you do have a problem finding a parking space, I suggest parking at the Convention Center and taking the bus. It's only $2.00 for an all day/ride as much as you want pass.
Joy, Bike Week does draw a large crowd during the weekend but the beach does not feel crowded, like a typical summer weekend. The week days are substantially less crowded. Gem Week is less crowded than Bike Week and is more typical of a September (off-season) week.
