We take our dog to Northside Park and he always has a great time.Â Dogs must be leashed, but they can swim in the bay unleashed.Â There are lots of friendly dogs to play with there.
Sorry Colleen, but dogs are not permitted on the beach between May and October.Â And while you may see one or two on the beach, those people are taking a chance.Â The dog ordinances are strictly enforced. And all dogs must be kept on a leash when walkingÂ in OC.
To access the dog park, you will need a permit from the city. And your pet must have a current license and proof of currentÂ rabies vaccine.

Yes the park at 94th st is good for dogs but is very expensive to register a dog to use that park.
You may take your dog to the Ferderal side of Assateague Island where dogs are allowed on the beach.
If you are concerned about leaving your pet inside the condo/hotel all day, there is a hotel available for dogg called the Dogtel Hotel in West Ocean City.Â http://www.dogtel-hotel.com/Â
