When is off-season and are dogs allowed on the beach and boardwalk during the off-season?

Amy,

If you are down before the dogs are allowed on the beach, Assateague Island is only a short drive away and dogs are allowed on the Federal side of Assateague Island all year.  There is also a pet park on bayside at 94th St.

Amy,

Please check out this website for specifics for Pet Owners  - http://ococean.com/things-to-do/the-beach.  It provides dates, locations, as well as the dog park information.

Thank you,
Anna G.

Amy,
We have a dog and he loves OC!  Northside Park is a great place to walk him and take him for swim.  Many parks also have free poops bags for you to use.  It is a dog walkers paradise.

Dogs are permitted from October1 - April 30. You can also take them to Northside Park and the Federal side of Assateague year round.
