There is no public transportation, but if you go to www.greyhound.com and travel midweek from Penn Staion in NYC, you can get a web only special for a one way ticket for under $57 to Ocean City.  Traveling on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the fare jumps to $62.  The downside of this is that the trip is 24 hours long.

Other than Grey Hound, if you can get a flight into Salisbury, MD, you could take a cab or shuttle from the airport to the resort.

Kevin,

The only transportation I can recommend to you is looking into Greyhound Bus... they have a hub in West Ocean City....

Kevin,

You could also take the train to Penn Station Baltimore, then the light rail to the airport, then the BayRunner Shuttle to Salisbury (MD), then a cab into OC.  It is a complex trip and I am sure it would be over $300.

Hi Kevin,

Greyhound is your best bet. Unless you take a NJ transit bus, but I don't think that will help.
