Where can I find the plans to build one of the reverseable benches on the boardwalk at Ocean City or can I buy one?
My husband's brother is a fantastic wood worker and lives about 45 minutes away from OC. His business is called Eden Woodworks...if you contact him he may have a few ideas....

try the public works department because i'm not sure if they do that anymore.

That's what I loved about the older Ocean City's benches. They were reverable just by moving the back of the bech forward and backward so you can people watch on the boardwalk and people watch on the beach.
They have been mostly replaced by the following:
It seems to be that you can modify a few bech plans to make it work. For instance:
Shortening the light green support and putting in a left support leg like the right one. would allow toy to put a movable back that can be tilted frontward or backward.
Google bench plans to get some more ideas.

I would call the Department of Public Works - http://oceancitymd.gov/public_works/. They are responsible for maintaining them and I thought they built them as well.

Ocean City has not built these benches for a number of years and they have replaced most of them. I'd suggest contacting the Public Works Maintenance Division who maintains the boardwalk benches to see if they could get you a copy of the plans or purchase one. You can reach them at 410.524.0391.
