Am looking to travel to OC second week in August. I heard that temps are great, but possibility of a lot of rain in August?? Anyone know about this? Obviously the weather is unpredictable, but didn't know if anyone had any ideas.

I have been going to OC the second week of August every year for the past 23 years. Only one time did we get alot of rain and that was like 16 years ago. The weather is hot and the Ocean has warmed up to bearable refreshing tempatures. I seriosly doubt that you will be disapointed.

I go to OC every August 1st-3rd weeks and the weather is usually hot and the water is about as warm as it is going to get. Rain usually occurs every couple days mostly just a passing afternoon shower.

August is a great month to go to OCMD. We usually go the third week and rarely encounter rain. Mid September is when you risk hurricanes.

August average high is 84 , average low is 65.Average rainfall 5.5 inches. Personally I think August and September are my favorite months at the shore. Usually at the beach during August the rain comes fast and hard but is short lived. By the time you wrap up your beach gear and get to the car it's stopped. So I usually just hang out under the umbrella for a few minutes and let it pass.

nah, rain comes when God wants it to come but to be in August on any regular schedule is definitely not the case
