I know I may have asked a similar question awhile back, but is there a way I could get a permit online for street performing? And is street performing still allowed on the boardwalk? I'll be going down Summer 2012.

My favorite area to watch the street performers is just a couple of feet south of Tony's Pizza.  There's always a hue crowd there.

You no longer have to register to sell/perform each day on the beach, but there are still regulations.  Follow Karl's advice and you'll do fine.

Street performers are allowed on the boardwalk in most areas. However, you need to get a license to perform on the boardwalk. There area limited number of permits for each season. To get the schedule and cost for 2012 permit applications as well as the restrictions on where and when you can perform, contact the City Clerk's office at 410.289.8824 or via email atkallmond@oceancitymd.gov.
