We will be staying at the Golden Sands (109th St) in August. Where is the best place to park when we drive to the boardwalk? We'll have 2 young kids with us and don't want to take the crowded busses.

You can park at the inlet for a fee.

I agree with going for the Inlet Parking. On crowded days it can fill up, if that happens check out the side-streets near the rt. 50 bridge on the bay side. You'll need to cross traffic but be safe and cross at the crosswalks and you and your tagalongs will be OK.

I would suggest going to the inlet parking lot. You have to pay to park but you are right there at the boardwalk.

Ditto on what the others said. The inlet parking lot is the most convenient lot for boardwalk area parking. (and it's reasonable)

You really can't beat the cost and convenience of the Inlet parking. It is a much more nominal cost than parking at 13-28 street and riding the tram which costs $3 per person one way.
