are there camp grounds and rental bikes in that area
Before I got my place I most always would stay either at Fort Waley or Frontier Town. Great for kids for sure!! Google it and check it out. Both have shuttles to OC and pools and activites for the whole family.

Oh yes, quite a few of both. The bike rentals are up and down the boardwalk. There are also quite a few campgrounds. You can find a link on http://ococean.com/accommodations. I have never camped at the beach so I can't make any recommendations. Friends have and they said Frontier Town was a blast. Assateague Island has lots of mosquitoes, so if you decide to stay there, take plenty of bug spray!

Campgrounds are Eagles Nest and Frontier Town just outside of OC.
There are multiple bike rentals in OC, you will see them.

There are several campgrounds on Rt 611 just off of Rt 50 on your way to OC. Frontier Town is probably the most popular, then there's Eagles Nest, and there is also camping to be found on Assateague.
Rental bikes are everywhere.

Many Ocean City Campgrounds. One of the most popular is Frontier Town www.frontiertown.com A lot of people take their bikes there to travel from the campsite to the pool and other rec areas in the park. Other camprounds include Treasure Beach in Delaware http://www.treasurebeachrvpark.com/which is just a couple of miles outside OC MD off route 54 and Castawya Park http://www.castawaysrvoc.com/. I don't know much about that park. A little further away off route 50 is Fort Whaley http://www.fortwhaley.com/
There are many bike rental places on the boardwalk. Too many to mention and since I have never rented one in OC, the best thing to do is to go to www.google.com and type in Ocean City MD bike rentals and a whole slew of them will pop up.
