We will be staying in Ocean Pines. How far are we from the beach?

Depending upon where you are in Ocean Pines I would estimate approximately 10-20 minutes to reach Ocean City.  Then it would simply be drive time once you enter Ocean City to whichever street you wish to hit the beach.

Personal suggestion - choose one of the beach areas above 33rd Street you should be able to find free side street parking without any trouble.

Thank you,
Anna G.

Ocean Pines is across the bay off Route 90 and Route 589. You will need to drive to the beach. It is about 6 miles from Ocean Pines to the beach on Route 90. Traffic on the Route 90 bridges is generally not too bad except for Saturday noon to about 5pm.

Ocean Pines is a residential area outside of Ocean City. It's a great area to stay because you're in easy driving distance to the beach, Assateague Island, and Ocean Downs Racetrack and Casino.

In real time - drive to OC, find a place to park, unload all your beach toys, and walk to the beach - is 20 - 30 minutes.  Ocean Pines is a great place to stay!

My family has a place in Ocean Pines.  It depends on whether you are in the north or south entrance. Most of the time you will head across the route 90 bridge which would take about 10-20 minutes depending on traffic. If you are heading towards the inlet, you would take route 50 and it would take just about the same amount of time.

Ocean Pines is a great place to stay, close enough to beach but far enough away to be relaxing.
