Is the boardwalk up and running fully the end of march for Easter weekend?
I am often in OC the week before Easter and expect to be there this year then too. Assuming the weather is nice, about half or more of of the boardwalk stores will be open Easter weekend. Boardwalk favorites Thrasher's Fries, Dumser's ice cream, Fisher's popcorn (my favorite!), Candy Kitchen , and Marty's Playland. are almost always open on the weekends.

The Boardwalk, as an "attraction" never closes.
There are many of the Boardwalk's businesses.... shops and restaurants per say, that are open all year long, especially on the weekends.... and if the weather is nice, more open than do routinely. We've moved from Ocean City having an "off season" to it having a "second season"........ and yes, while there are restaurants, shops and businesses... namely hotels and motels that still do close after Labor Day and open back up Memorial Day, there is less and less of that......... 1st Quarter of the year is my favorite time in town..... you'll find lots to do, and you'll have a great time.

Another fun activity is the Easter Arts and Crafts Fair on March 29 and 30. Exhibitors will be displaying unique handcrafted items including wearable art, jewelry, lawn & garden decor, toys, florals, fine art, caricatures & more. www.oceanpromotions.info

If the weather is warm, you will find half or more of the stores open on the weekends. By mid-April you will find 70% of the stores open on the weekend.

There will be many stores and restaurants open that weekend. If the weather is good, Thrasher's Fries and Fisher's Popcorn will be open also. Plus you'll find Marty's Playland open and the Life Saving Station Museum, and the world famous Ocean Gallery open as well. But the rides and arcades won't be open then. They normally open in May.
