If you're mentioning Ocean City's recovery from Superstorm Sandy, they were back up and running days after the storm.  Flooding occurred, and the town and business owners were on top of it as the back end of the clouds of the storm were still over town.  The only appreciable damage was to the end of the Wicomico Street Fishing Pier which is being rebuilt right now, and Fager's Island gazebo, which is also being rebuilt right now......... So, in essence.... they are ready for summer and to welcome you to town now.

Ocean City will be open and ready for this summer with no evidence that a storm was there - it is already mostly recovered!

While Sandy had a significant effect on OC, most of the damage was on the bay side. I have been there since the storm, and there is very little evidence of its destruction left. Thre is soem beach erosion, but no more than happens most years, and most of the bayside businesses that were damaged are repaired or under repair. Repairs are also underway already to the Ocean Pier.

You can look forward to a great summer in OC in 2013!
