That's a great time to be in Ocean City. That's Cruisin' OC weekend and there will be thousands of fabulous cars in town with car shows at the inlet and the Convention Center, and the cars parade down the boardwalk to the inlet Thursday,Friday, Saturday mornings.
I suggest you make your hotel reservations very soon because the hotels sell out quickly for this event.  www.specialeventpro.com/cruisin
Nearly every store and restaurant will be open.  The pier games may not be open yet, but Marty's Playland and the Haunted House will be. Sometimes the boardwalk rides are open if the weather is good.  Thrasher's Fries, Fisher's Popcorn, Dolles and Candy Kitchen...........all will be open.
As for Sandy damage...........forget it. Not an issue.

First off, it's a great time to be in town........

There are NO problems at this time with the aftermath of Sandy, there really never was except for a couple of matters.... most were taken care of right away, 2 of them are being repaired right now.

Since we're on the up swing to the unofficial start of the summer season, many of the boardwalk stores and restaurants will be up and running (a lot of them are now)....... the outdoor rides may or may not be up and running...... they need good weather for installing them are dry runs...... so, it depends.  The indoor rides are open for the kids still on the weekends.

You'll find that we are quickly moving away from having to determine what is, and what is not open post Labor Day to Memorial Day.... the list is getting smaller and smaller, to the point where in the last few years, this time period that was previously known as "off season" is now know as "second season".

This is a great weekend to go to OC - I have been there this weekend for the past several years. Be aware that it is Spring Cruisin' Weekend so there will be thousiands of muslcle and classic cars in town.

Pretty much everything is open this weekend except the larger water parks, some of the amusements, and some of the tour boats. All of the boardwalk shops will be open as will all the restaurants in town.

I have been to OC several times since Sandy arrived and rest assured that there is very little remaining damage and that should all be taken care of by next Spring.

Have a great trip to OC next May!

Everything will be open, including the waterparks.  And there is no damage from Sandy anywhere in Ocean City.

The Boardwalk will actually be in full-swing by late April.

This is a great time to be in OC!  All of the shops on the boardwalk will be open and it is the last hurrah before the summer crowds begin.  The town of OC is fine in regard to Sandy.  Enjoy!
