The other way is to go into Jersey and take the Cape May Lewis Ferry down to OC. It's much longer and more expensive that way though.
Many of the local business have their employment opportunities listed on their websites.
Other good sources would be the MD Coastal Dispatch, OC Today, and Craig's List.
Good Luck!

Not sure what your interests are but here are some ideas:
Stay someplace that is waterfront like the Clarion on 100th, Princess Royale on 91st, Quality Inn or 33rd, The Dunes Manor on 28th, The Grand on 21st, or the Holiday Inn on 17th. Be sure to get an ocean front room and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the ocean waves.
Dinner at some of OC's famous bayside beachy restaurants like Fishtales, Macky's, Dead Freddies, etc!
Taking one evening to just stroll the boardwalk, taking your time at the arcades, amusement parks (The ferris wheel is a must), stores like the Kite Loft, boardwalks eats like Thrashers, Fisher's Popcorn, and Candy Kitchen.
Visiting Ocean City without golfing at one of the many miniature golf courses should not be an option. Pick up a Sunny Day guide when you get to OC at the hotels or convention center and look for valuable money saving coupons.
Nightlife: For action, Seacrets is the place to be. For a quieter bar, check out Jive which is located inside of Fresco's Italion Restaurant on 82nd St. They also serve an amazing dinner with million dollar sunset views.
Of course, the majority of your day should be on the beach enjoying the ocean's beauty!
Have fun!
