Does anyone happen to know what the charges are for beach chair/umbrella rentals around the Golden Sands condo?? They cannot tell me at the condo because they said the rental places are privately owned and they have nothing to do with them?? Thanks
Chairs are $8 a day and umbrellas are $14.

on the boardwalk, here are the locations: worcester st, caroline, 3rd, 9th, 27th, and south division next to the bus terminal. also the indoor rides too

Is the pier totally fixed? We are coming for vacation in July and my grandkids love the pier.
Yes, the pier is totally fixed. It reopened a few weeks ago with pier franchise owner Buddy Jenkins and OC Mayor Rick Meehan casting the first lines from the reopened pier. You can read more about its reconstruction and reopening here.

I am looking for the daily beach closings for the surfers. I do not want to make a reservation and not have access to the beach on my vaca week. Last year, the beach closings where on the OC web page. I can't seem to find the dates. Thanks.

We are bringing our 7 year old granddaughter to OC later in June for her first "beach experience". She is not great on a two wheeler bicycle, but is pretty good on her electric scooter. Would she be able to ride her scooter on the boardwalk while the rest of the family rides bikes during the early morning hours?
She can ride on e boardwalk up to 11am. If you all would like to ride after 11am, i would suggest that you take you bikes up to Northside Park up on 120th st as they have many trails to ride on.

Are dogs allowed on the beach if leashed? Thanks, macy
No, dogs are not allowed on OC's beaches at this time of year under any conditions or at any time unless they are licensed service animals.
Dogs are not allowed on the OC beach, ocean, or boardwalk or beach anytime from 1 May to 30 September. Leashed dogs are allowed in OCs parks, including Northside Park at 127th Street. There is a dog park at 94th Street. You can get more info about it here: http://ococean.com/things-to-do/oc-local-parks-and-playgrounds/ocean-city-dog-playground Dogs are allowed in certain areas of the beach at the Assateague National Seashore, but not Assateague State Park. Here is the info from the National Seashore website: Pets are permitted in the Maryland portion of the National Seashore. All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.
Pets are completely prohibited in the following areas: - all backcountry campsites - nature trails - lifeguard-protected beach - north of the State Park to the Ocean City inlet - the entire Virginia portion of Assateague Island, including in your car.
