What stores offer wi fi?

Many of the hotels and condo units now provide wifi, as well as the local McDonald's, and a few other restaurants.  Frankly I was in OC last week and never had an issue of not having wifi to connect (and we were all over the town!).

Only area I didn't have wifi service was when we went to Frontier Town for the day.  Had service off and on but it was not consistent.

Thank you,
Anna G.

My daughter wants to have her sweet 16 birthday in Ocean city. We need to find a hotel on the beach with large rooms for the girls and close by attractions and resturants. If anyone knows the teenage hotspots, Please help us desperate parents. The birthday is August 1st.

For teens, one of the hot spots is H2O and H2O2.  Both are located near the inlet off Worcester Street.  Check out their website: http://www.ocbeachweek.com/.

Other suggestions, arcades, Splash Mountain, Jolly Rogers, Go-Karts, Mini-Golf, Ice Skating, Shopping.

Hotels, I personally recommed Holiday Inn Suites, Castle in the Sand, or Princess Royale Suites for their room sizes.  The other favorite is Carousel - simply because of the hotel amenities (ice skating rink, oceanfront, indoor/outdoor pool, cafe, restaurant, etc.).

Happy 16th to your daughter and I hope everyone has a great birthday weekend in OC!

Thank you,
Anna G.

I would head to Northside Park as there are many places you can watch wtihout actually going to the park and traffic getting out is not as chaotic as down at Division Street.  Have a great time!

When does the boardwalk close for the season? I'd like to plan an end of summer vacation there for my birthday (Sept.11th) but want to make sure the shops on the boardwalk will still be open.. Thanks!

Many stores, restuarants, and arcades are still open that time of year, but not as long into the night as you would find in the summer.  Rides may be open as well if the weather is cooperative.  You will still find lots of things to do in OC that time of year because OC is becoming a year round resort with activities/events every weekend.  You may also want to check out the events calendar on www.ococean.com to see if there is an event that weekend you may want to check out.  Have a happy birthday!

That is a great time of year to come with young children as the crowds have cleared out and running freely on the beach is at it's best!  If you are looking for organized activities for the kids, that will be hard to come by as that has ended after Labor Day.  Hotel suggestions:  The Holiday Inn on 17th; the Princess Royale, the Carousel are wonderful places for the family with great lists of amenities including indoor pools.  Have a great trip!
