I would like to bring a car cruise group to the "Cruisin Ocean City" in May, 2011. Where would the best place to stay, and if you can give me any details about this event please let me know... Thank you...

I would suggest staying at the Grand Hotel on 21st Street. If you trailer your car you can find a place to store it and park your cruiser in the parking garage to help keep it clean. This is one of my favorite events at the beach. Enjoy!

You may not know this but I'll try. I live in OC and want to get licensed for Home Health Aide. Do you know where I should begin to get bonded, and licensed??
I would think you would have to contact the state of Maryland for that information. I would call or stop by Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin and inquire. They are very nice and helpful and may be able to point you in the right direction.

Are there any shops opened on the boardwalk the week of Oct.4th, 2010?
There are usually stores open every day but depending on the weather and crowds. On the weekends most of them are open for business as usual.

Is there any place in OC to rent electric wheelchair scooters? I had one down there about 6 years ago and cannot remember where or who I called. I am can't walk long distances.

Me and my wife would like to come back to ocean city on sep.17,2010 will all the shops on the OCEAN CITY BOARDWALK be opened and in what month do the boardwalk shut down

The answer to your question is yes, the Boardwalk will be up and in full swing on Friday September 17th.... I assume you're coming for the weekend. The outdoor rides will be shut down, but other than that, everything else will be up and running.....
Ocean City and the Boardwalk don't shut down really anymore, the town has evolved into a year round resort.... so you'll find that most of the businesses, shops and restaurants in Ocean City have gone to a weekends only schedule at the very least. Yes, there are those businesses that do shut down for the season because they are primarily outdoors.... but other than that, you'll find Ocean City open for business 365 days per year!!!! Have a great time!

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for OC from camp hill pa... im gonna be going 83 to 695 to 97 to 50.... besides the key and bay bridges are there any other tolls on this route?

I'm not familiar with any additional tolls than those you mentioned for the bridges. There are no tolls on Route 50 for your trip in to OC.Â

Are animals allowed on the beach? If so what time during the year?
Dogs are allowed on the beach from 1 October until 30 April.

My boyfriend and I will be going to OC, but unfortunately the weather may not agree with us. Any ideas on what we can do while it's raining?
Here are a few ideas:
1. Get an Old Time Photo taken
2. Spend some time at Marty's Playland or one of the other great arcades on the boardwalk
3. Enjoy a nice lunch or dinner and watch the rain at one of OC's bay side, ocean side, or other restaurants
3. Visit the outlets in West OC or up in Rehobeth
4. Indoor mini golf at 68th or 136th street

Where can I get the shuttle bus that takes me to the Greyhound Bus Terminal. I will be staying near 53rd & Coastal Highway.

You can take the regular OC bus ($2) to the South Division Street Transit Station and then take the shuttle ($1) to the Greyhound terminal in West OC.
