My husband is participating in the Cruising Car Show. He is trailering his car. Can you tell me where he can park his truck/trailer legally and in a safe place? Thanks for your help in advance.

Daniel,

If you check out http://ococean.com/travel-tools/parking-information there is information at the bottom concerning boat trailers and I believe car trailers are the same rate.

Other alternatives, check with the hotel/condo you are staying.  Many offer additional parking for the Cruisin' weekend.

Have a great time!

Rebecca,

What a great trip!  I went to Google maps and was able to reduce the number of toll roads to 1.  It will take a little longer, but some of the roads will be scenic and pass the time.

However you decide to get to OC, you will enjoy your stay.  OC has so much to offer all ages.

Can you give me a general idea of temperatures in mid to late June in OC? Thanks!

Judith,

The weather is normally warm, ocean water cool, but nice.  We are in OC the middle of June each year and normally experience great weather.  We will occasionally get weeks full of rain and cool weather, but out of the last 12 years, that has happened perhaps twice.

Hope you have a great trip to OC.

Susan,

There is a laudromat on 28th Street, in the mall with Coins Pub and the Candy Kitchen.  I am unsure of the name of it, but it says Laundromat on the sign; it is $3 to wash and $1 to dry for 20 minutes I believe.  They are open 24 hours a day.

Did Edwards (North Division) boardwalk change it's name?

Ben,

Not that I'm aware of, I know last year they cleared some of their stock and new stock was in the store when we were there in April.  I believe the store size has been decreased, but still there and under Edward's (http://ocedwards.com/).

Thank you for your question.

I live in East Orange, NJ I want to know what is the best way to travel to ocean city from here

Hello Deborah,

I'm with Bill on this one..... take 95 to 1.  The only difference is that since Route 1 is essentially Coastal Highway, you can take it the whole way into Ocean City instead of veering onto 113.

Just got back to Central Pa after spending two great weeks in OC. Enjoyed some great live music: Dave Sherman, Dave Hawkins, Nate and Electric Company, John Lamere among others. Springfest was Awesome. My Question: I'm seriously considering relocating to OC and I'm looking for some "budget" housing for a single guy like myself. I'm not too picky and don't need anything fancy. A bungalow or simple room(and shower) would suit me fine. Any info or suggestions would be great. Thanks. (PS: I posted some music clips on OC's Facebook page for those who appreciate live music.)

James, wow... can I empathize with you.... I live in Central PA as well, and can't wait to relocate to OC at some point in time... glad you're getting it done sooner than my later!

This is a great resource to use when considering relocation http://www.oceancity.org/live_relocation.php

Best wishes..... Good Luck!!  Great choice of venues!

Hi Drew,

I am not sure if they offer seasonal passes.  The normal fare is $2 a day but you can purchase a book of 20 fares discounted at $15.

Needed to clarify.  I mentioned parking around 27th St. and riding the tram to the inlet. BUT the tram won't be running this weekend. They don't start running the tram until Memorial Day weekend.  Just so you know.
