I know that senior week is during june. But I graduate on the 4th of June. We were planning to have our trip at the end on May. Do senior classes come at that time too since its so close to June? and Is there any special discounts that we can recieve from hotels or other places for our senior trip?

Some college students come down in late May, but most high school seniors come down in June.  Many hotels run specials during that time and restaurants have early-bird menus available.

I will be driving down in a couple of days and want to stop at The Shark for lunch before heading to hotel. Is there parking (non-metered) nearby? Also would we be out of place dining there as we will be in sweats (long drive). Thanks

The Shark has good, free parking and a casual atmosphere.  Great place to eat!  Most places in Ocean City are "casual."

Yes, Greyhound buses run from Philly to OC.  Other options may be available as well, I would check the yellow pages for other transportation services.  Ocean City has an active bus terminal.

YOu can find moderately priced hotel rooms all over town.  If you are looking for a "Cheaper" hotel I will suggest the Admiral Hotel on 12th Street and the Commander Hotel on 14th Street.  There is a waterpark located at Jolly Rodgers on 30th Street.  Their website is www.jollyrogerpark.com

Is there a good book store in Ocean City

One of the best places for books and magazines is the News Center on 118th St. in Ocean City Square. It's located in a small shopping center next to a Food Lion. It looks like a Hallmark store....the books are in the back part of the store, and they carry almost every magazine published.

Can you tell me if the tram still runs during the week (and on weekends) in October? We are planning a trip 10/7-10/11 and want to stay at the Dunes Manor. That's a long walk to the inlet for our three year old.

Hi. They are still running right now during the week. just came back I did see them running during Columbus Day weekend last year but you will have plenty of parking if you take your car down to the huge inlet parking lot in october it will be less crowded and have a nice time

Hi...I vacation at OCMD every year...we stay at the Executive Motel! We love OCMD! I have a question that I cannot find the answer to! Back when I was a small child, (20 years ago) my parents used to bring me to OCMD every year too...and I seem to remember there being a HUGE water slide near the parking lot at the inlet. Am I just imagining things? My parents don't seem to remember the huge slide...but I seem to remember it clearly. It was a huge, double slide, that went straight down, and you had to cross your arms over your chest because it was so steep and almost straight down. Can you give me any information about this waterslide? I am very interested in it...I truly believe it was in OCMD, but it is definitely not there anymore, and has long since been gone. Maybe even 20 years gone! Please let me know. I am very curious! I love OCMD!

I can't remember the name of the slides at the peir at the inlet. I used to be a lifeguard in VA and our boss would bring the guards up at the end of the summer to go to the slides you are talking about. They had the one body slide that we always called the Water Wedgey! You are not crazy they were there!
