Got married in OC on Aug. 18, 2007. Took marriage cert. to DMV in WV to renew my drivers license and they said I need a certified copy. How do I get one without coming to MD.?

Coming to Ocean City for a second honeymoon would be a great idea and you could get a copy easily at the same time.

Bus service runs the length of OC all year round. You can get anywhere on the Bus in OC! Cost is $3 per day or $1 per ride (for cost purposes days start and end at 6am). You can get more info on the bus here.

There are bike rentals in OC ant they will be open while you are there. You can get a list of bike rental places here. Typical costs and regulations related to riding on the boardwalk are shown below.

There are also several private lots around Wicomico through 4th Street.  They charge $20 a day for parking.

OC is great for Thanksgiving!  Many of the larger hotels like the Clarion and the Carousel have a wonderful dinner buffet for the holiday.  If the weather is nice you might find some shops, arcades, restaurants open on the boardwalk over the weekend but usually they close at 5 pm.

Don't forget to do some shopping at the holiday Shoppers Fair at the Convention Center.  Here is some good info from my fellow Insider Anna :http://ococean.com/events/holiday-shoppers-fair-2012/insights

Also great shopping at the newly remodeled Tanger Outlets in West OC.

Hi, what is that large stationary object out on the ocean horizon. I stay near 100th street and its almost straight out. Looks like a large ship/platform but it never moves. Its lit up at night. With the binocs it looks like a large vessel or platform of some sort. thanks

Where you stay has alot to do with your preferences.

If you want to be in the hustle bustle, the boardwalk are is the best place to be and there are many fine motels and hotels to serve you there including the Days Inn, the Spinnaker, the Quality In, the Holiday Inn, and the Sahara.

I prefer further north where it is quieter but not quieter like an Assateague Island.  Above 90th St, you can find fine hotels like the Princess Royale, the Carousel, and the Clarion and you are still close to most attractions and restaurants.

I wanted to bring my 8 month old puppy to the beach this summer, but I wasn't sure if there are any rules as to when they are allowed on the beach, if at all

There are several places in OC that allow pets. Here are a few:.

Clarion Fontainebleau - Ocean front, 101st Street. This is a great large property with lots of amenities. Most of the rooms are ocean and bay view. This is the nicest property on the list with the most amenities (www.clarionoc.com/)

Coastal Palms Inn and Suites - Ocean block 120th Street. It was recently taken over by the Carousel and completely redone. It is very nice. Staying here provides access to many of the Carousel's amenities (just 2 blocks away). Also has an outdoor pool and free loaner beach chairs (www.coastalpalmshotel.com)

Barefoot Mailman - Ocean block on 35th Street. (www.barefootmailman.com/)

Windjammer Apartments - Ocean front, 46th Street. A nice older property with studio, 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR apartments. I stayed there for many years. (www.ocwindjammer.com)

Safari Hotel at 13th Street is ocean front on the boardwalk. I believe that The Safari is the only place on the boardwalk that takes pets. (www.safarimotel.net)

Be aware that dogs are not allowed on the OC beach or boardwalk or beach anytime from 1 May to 30 September. Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach and boardwalk from 1 October to 30 April.

Leashed dogs are allowed in OCs parks, including Northside Park at 127th Street. There is a dog park at 94th Street. You can get more info about it here:http://ococean.com/things-to-do/oc-local-parks-and-playgrounds/ocean-city-dog-playground
