You could drive or take the Assateague Explorer. Driving will be cheaper and you could also spend a day on the beach over there. Bring bug spray with you, I always take Off because the mosquitoes can be bad. If you drive, turn on route 611 which is right of route 50. There will be signs for it, if you are headed East towards OC, 611 will be on your right.

I'd suggest PMI rentals at 126th Street. They have been in business a long time and have a great reputation. You can reach them at 410.250.1251 or visit their website.

Cribs are $13 for the first day + $4 a day or $26 for the week. They will deliver and pickup for $13 in OC.

Here is their price sheet:

When we were on our yearly Ocean City trip, I stopped at a stand on the boardwalk to buy cotton candy for $3.50 . I dont remember the name of the stand and I want to know. The stand was right next to the Atlantic Stand and across the boardwalk from the Ripley's Belive It or Not building. It had a big bin out front where they spun the cotton candy.

You are probably referring to King's Cotton Candy Stand, it's on the boardwalk between Wicomico and Somerset St.

I was in OC recently and watched the Beach Patrol "Crew Comps". I really liked some of the shirts the teams were wearing. Can you tell me who some of the sponsors were so I can contact them? I know Fat Daddy's was one and I bought their shirt but I'm not sure of the others.

Your best bet is to reach out to the beach patrol directly. You can reach them at 410.289.7556.

Most of Ocean City, with the exception of the outdoor pools, amusement parks, and water parks will be open and hopping.

The beach never closes except for hurricanes and lightening

I know you will find alot open and will not be bored.

If the weather is nice, you not only see a few people strolling the boards but you will see thousands of people strolling the world famous boardwalk of Ocean City.

We will be in OC from 09/08/12 to 09/15/12. Will the tram be running then? If so, what are the hours? We will be staying at the Sea Cove so this would be helpful. Thank you.

My family traavels to the beach from Pittsburgh. A few years ago we stopped at a "pick your own+ peach farm on the way in to Ocean City. It had to be along Rt 50 or Rt 90, but I have not been able to find it again. I remember hyaving to turn left and back track to get there, then turn left out of the farm and continue in to Ocean City. I swear it was off of Rt. 50. Can anyone tell me where this place was located?

I don't know of any pick your own places off Route 50 near OC, but there is a pick your own peaches place called Bennett Orchards off Route 20 in nearby Frankfurt, DE. I've never picked there, but I've bought there peaches plenty of times at farmer's markets and they are always great! Call them at 302.732.3358 for more info.

Perhaps you are referring to Garden of Eden Orchards in Salisbury. I don't know anything about them, but here is their webpage.

Enjoy a sweet peach in OC!

Looking for a romantic spot to watch the sunset?

Almost anyplace along the bay will do. Here are a few of my favorites:

Restaurants with great sunset views
Fager's Island (sunsets timed to the 1812 overture!)
The Hobbit (one of my favorite places - spectacular sunset views)
Mackey's
The Angler
Marina Deck
BJs

If you want something quieter, try the Northside Park Pier, 9th Street Park pier or Sunset Park; they are also great places to see the sunset.

If you want a place really off the beaten path try this: Park on 78th Street on the west side of Coastal Highway (just north of the Bayside Skillet). Walk to the west end of the street. You will see a small path leading towards the bay there. Follow the path through the vegetation and it will take you to some areas with great views of the bay and the suns setting in the western sky. I haven't been there since last year, but this path has been there for years, so it should still be there. Note that at high tides this path might get a little flooded, but with no more than a couple of inches of water.

Hope you see a great sunset in OC!
