Can you recommend a place to get great fresh (raw) shrimp? I hate the thought of being at the beach and buying frozen shrimp from a grocery story for my shrimp tacos and frogmore stew. :) Thanks!
Two places come to mind. One of my favorite is Martin Fish Company in West OC at the southeast end of the commercial harbor. I got some shrimp there 2 weeks ago that were excellent. Another option is the Shrimp Boat in West OC on Route 611. Note that the Shrimp boat sells its shrimp with the heads on, so more cleaning is required.

I'm looking for a good place to park for a day trip that is either free or cheap for the day. The date will be August 10th, and I haven't been to the beach in years.
I'd suggest any of the side streets north of 10th Street. If you stay away from 62nd Street (right near the Route 90 bridge) and the area where the high rises are, you should have no trouble finding a spot. Side streets north of 10th Street are free to park on and are a safe place to leave your car. You can also park at the convention center at 40th Street for free.

What is the approximate cost of a taxi from Salisbury airport to OC (Carousel Hotel) 118th St. or is there shuttle which runs to OC from the airport
You can take Bay Runner Shuttles. Their schedule is here. The Salisbury Airport to OC leg costs $45. Call them at 410.912.6000 for more info. They take you to the West OC park and ride lot.From there you can take the shuttle bus ($1) to the South OC Bus Transfer Station and then the city bus ($1) to the Carousel.

Is there any horseback riding near oc mayland?
The nearest place to horseback ride is Holly Ridge Farm in Willards, MD. It is about 15 miles from OC. They offer horseback camps,
lessons, and trail rides. You need to call and make a reservation as
they do not accept walk ins. Their phone number is 410.835.2596. In the off season they can arrange for horseback riding on the beach too.

Hey experts, i know i am about 10 months ahead of time of asking this but for senior week and convention week 2013 where is the best place and affordable place to stay that is within walking distance of the boardwalk, ocean bowl skatepark, and the convention center? i've stayed at the admiral hotel before with my family for vacations down there but i'd much rather stay at somewhere else for these events
YOu can try either the Plim Plaza or the Burgundy Inn.

Are there lifeguards on duty on weekends after Labor Day - particularly Sunfest weekend?
Lifeguards are on duty everyday from 10am to 5:30pm until the end of the day on Sunday of Sunfest, 23 September. Their are fewer stands, so the guards are spread out a bit more, but the entire OC beach remains guarded everyday until then.

How far is OCEAN CITY once you get off the leewes ferry?
hi there, as a ferry rider for the past 24 years i've been coming to ocmd it's an hour on route 1 to get to ocean city or 35 miles as mentioned. if you've never experienced the ferry you should. it's awesome 70 minute ride across the delaware bay and atlantic ocean! have a safe trip!!!!

How do I book a bus from silver spring md to ocean city md?
Take the Metro from Silver Spring to New Carrollton and take the Greyhound bus from there to OC. There is one bus a day from New Carrollton to OC. It costs between $40
and $60 depending how far in advance you reserve a seat and the options

Im staying at the Princess Bayside Beach Hotel what ways are to best to get to the boardwalk from the hotel with out having to drive my car?
i love the princess bayside on 48th street! the bus comes right in front of the hotel and picks you up. or you can go up 4 blocks to the convention center but i'd rather pick it up right in front.
