Ocean City is ten miles long, so
there is no single exact GPS address. I would recommend you set you GPS to
Harrison's Harbor Watch Restaurant which is right at the inlet parking lot. Its
address is 806 South Atlantic Avenue Ocean City, MD 21842.
The lat and long for the inlet parking lot are:
Lat: 38.326672
Long: -75.086532
You are correct about the park and ride lot and shuttle service.
If you want to set your GPS for that parking lot use the adress of the
Greyhound Station that is located there. Its address is:
12848 Ocean Gateway
Ocean City, MD
Ocean Gateway is Route 50. When coming east on Route 50 the Park and Ride is
the right turn (at a traffic light) just past the Royal Farms Store at the
corner of Golf Course Road and Route 50.
The coordinates for the West OC Park & Ride lot are:
Lat: 38.333
Long: -75.104
In case your GPS accepts phone numbers as inputs, the Greyhound Station's phone
number is 410.289.9307.

Clarion Fontainebleau - Ocean front, 101st Street. This is a great large property with lots of amenities. Most of the rooms are ocean and bay view. This is the nicest property on the list with the most amenities (www.clarionoc.com/)
Coastal Palms Inn and Suites - Ocean block 120th Street. It was recently taken over by the Carousel and completely redone. It is very nice. Staying here provides access to many of the Carousel's amenities (just 2 blocks away). Also has an outdoor pool and free loaner beach chairs (www.coastalpalmshotel.com)
Barefoot Mailman - Ocean block on 35th Street. (www.barefootmailman.com/)
Windjammer Apartments - Ocean front, 46th Street. A nice older property with studio, 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR apartments. I stayed there for many years. (www.ocwindjammer.com)
Safari Hotel at 13th Street is ocean front on the boardwalk. I believe that The Safari is the only place on the boardwalk that takes pets. (www.safarimotel.net)
As far as attractions for pets there are few. You need to be aware that dogs are not allowed on the OC beach or boardwalk or beach anytime from 1 May to 30 September. Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach and boardwalk from 1 October to 30 April.
Leashed dogs are allowed in OCs parks, including Northside Park at 127th Street. There is a dog park at 94th Street. You can get more info about it here: http://ococean.com/things-to-do/oc-local-parks-and-playgrounds/ocean-city-dog-playground
Dogs are allowed in certain areas of the beach at the nearby Assateague National Seashore, but not Assateague State Park. Here is the info from the National Seashore website:
Pets are permitted in the Maryland portion of the National Seashore. All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.
Pets are completely prohibited in the following areas:
- all backcountry campsites
- nature trails
- lifeguard-protected beach
- north of the State Park to the Ocean City inlet
- the entire Virginia portion of Assateague Island*
*Pets are prohibited in the entire Virginia portion of Assateague Island, even in your car. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service manages nearly all of the land area on the Virginia portion of Assateague Island as a National Wildlife Refuge.

The Castle in the Sand Oceanfront and ocean block buildings at 37th Street (800.552.7263). This is your best bet for a room for one night that will accommodate 6 people.
The Majestic on the boardwalk at 6th Street (410.289.6262)
Comfort Suites in West OC on Route 50 (410.213.7171)
You can also call places just ahead of your trip and if places have vacancies they may do a one night stay.

I just spoke with Alex, and he'll be happy to answer all your questions and get you set up.

There are lots of ocean front places to stay in OC. Here are a few places I recommend. I've given you a mix of places to meet your needs
and budget. They are listed from the south end of town
headed north with the ocean front ones listed first. They all should have rooms like you describe.
Holiday Inn Suites at 17th Street is right on the boardwalk. Many rooms are ocean front with balconies. The hotel has lots of amenities including indoor and outdoor pools. http://www.ocsuites.com/
Dunes Motel is at 27th Street, right at the north end of the boardwalk right at the tram station. It is an ocean front hotel with many ocean front rooms with balconies. It is a great, affordable ocean front motel. It also has rooms with balconies that face the bay. They have an outdoor pool. http://www.ocdunes.com/
Dunes Manor is a couple of blocks north of the boardwalk at 28th street, all rooms are ocean front with balconies. This is one of my favorite properties in OC, and the place I always recommend. My family stays there often. Their rooms have small kitchen areas, but are more like traditional hotel rooms than suites. They have adjoining rooms. They have an indoor/outdoor pool that is open year round. http://www.dunesmanor.com/
Quality Inn and Suites at 33rd street has nice ocean front rooms with balconies and indoor and outdoor pools. http://www.qualityinn.com/hotel-ocean_city-maryland-MD063
The Castle in the Sand at 37th street is a great midtown location. The hotel is ocean front, but they have several building and all types of rooms. They have lots of amenities including an outdoor pool. http://www.castleinthesand.com/home.php
Atlantic Budget Oceanfront at 45th street was just renovated and is a nice ocean front property. They have an outdoor pool. The Insiders toured this hotel last Spring, and it is very nice. They have a few rooms that will hold 6 people. http://www.ocatlantic.com/
Holiday Inn Ocean Front (67th Street) is a great ocean front property with a large pool and lots of amenities including indoor and outdoor pools and tennis courts. My family as stayed there many times. http://www.holidayinnoceanfront.com/
Princess Royal at 94th Street. I stayed here last spring. It is very nice and has lots of amenities.: http://www.princessroyale.com/
