What is the general cost of beach umbrellas rentals per day my family will be visiting at the end of the mth?

Umbrellas are about $15 a day and $67 a week. You can rent from any of the rental boxes along the beach. Below is a picture of one of these boxes and list of prices from the box at 65th Street from a couple of summers ago. Prices vary a little season to season and vendor to vendor, but not a lot.

Hi, I am trying to raise financial support for a missions trip and training in July. Would I be able to set up a table on the boardwalk and do a fundraiser there? I know that street musicians and such do that...however I didn't know if there was a process to it, or if you are just allowed to do that sort of thing. Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond to it!

What does it mean "rinse off showers"? are they enclosed to allow for changing in private?

No, they are simply that.  You can rinse the sand off in your bathing suit.

Hey there! I'm trying to plan a Sweet 16 for my daughter and I'm wondering where might be a luxury place to stay for one night & what she &her friends might like to do in the area? Any sweet 16 ideas? Thanks!

Well, the Hilton Hotel on 33rd St. is luxury, as is the Edge at Fagers.   Those would be the two best.  Or you could opt for the Inn at the Ocean which is OC's only oceanfront bed and breakfast.  It is very nice too.

As for things to do, they will have no problems being entertained.  There are jet skis, parasailing, wind surfing, mini golf, amusement parks, laser tag, paintball, and of course the boardwalk and beach.  There is also an under 21 club in OC called H20.  It's located just off the boardwalk on Worcester St.

You will find a lot of restaurants and shops open.  And of course there is the Festival of Lights at Northside Park.  And this year, there will be horse drawn carriage rides through downtown OC. Some amusements, like indoor mini golf and laser tag will be open as well.  The rides and boardwalk amusements won't be open though. Some shops will be depending on the weather. Plus the nearby casino will be open as well.

Does anybody know if there is a hotel/motel/condo that sells Pool passes for the day or week? This question was asked before but it's been a while so trying to get an updated answer.

There are none that I know of and I look every year.  Frontiertowne offers a day camping pass that can be used for the pool, but that is all I have found.  You also have use of the showers and changing facilities as well.

Is there one bus trip to go from convention center to West OC park and ride? or do I need to transfer? Thanks so much!

You will have to transfer at the bus station to go to the West OC Park and Ride.  Buses run about every 15 minutes to the Park and Ride, so the wait is not long.

Free parking would be street parking and that would be bayside which can be 3 to 4 blocks depending where you park.
The best spot to enjoy the boardwalk where there is rides, games and food is near the inlet area, about 5th st and under.
Just about every place is kid friendly to eat in Ocean City but a few my kids love are
Dough Roller
Fish Tales
Dead Freddies
(the last two have play areas is why)

I would pay to park at the inlet parking area so you can walk to the main part of the boardwalk and it will be easier on your legs.

Have fun
