Good Morning. My husband and I are looking to rent a boat slip in OC, Maryland. We have a condo off of 28th St. since 2009 and we are looking to buy a boat but we need a boat slip. We are preferably looking for a private owned slip to rent. Do people down there advertise that and if so where do they advertise at so that I may research that. Thank you. CR

Craigslist and any of the local papers are your best bet; look up - boat slip ocean city.  As a point of reference my neighbor rents at a local small dock in Fenwick Island and rent is $1,300 for the season for just dockage fees.

Hello! After accepting a job in the DelMarVa area (and based out of OC), I will be relocating to Ocean City within the next 60 days. However, I am a bit unsure where to look. I've found it very difficult to locate year round rentals within OC. I've check nearby in Salisbury, and although some complexes seem nice and the rent is pretty affordable, the area just doesn't seem like what a young professional is looking for (not to mention I hear it's rather unpleasant at times). Any insider tips as where I could look for year round rentals or contacts to reach out to?

You can check in Ocean Pines or Assateague Pointe.  Your best bet would probably be to contact some local realtors for help.

The best thing for you to do is to attend the job fair at the Convention Center on March 17th.  Everyone who is hiring will be there, and you should have no problem finding a job.

Because it is still too cold to spend most time on the beach, OC does not get big college/high school spring break crowds. However, what they do get would mostly be from 15 March to 15 April. OC does get a large high school crowd for senior weeks during the first 3 weeks of June. Have fun in OC.

Is there a boardwalk up at North OC? I'm specifically wondering if there is one by the Sea Watch condos.

Well, that's really a general question. You'll find quite a few department stores and specialty shops open. The grocery stores are all open. The hardware store, post office, and municipal offices will all be open. Furniture stores will be open. There will many restaurants and bars open. Some amusements like Planet Maze and indoor mini golf will be open. The Life Saving Station Museum may be open. There will be bike rental places open as well. No rides or water sports will be open though.
