Our family loves waves for bodysurfing as well as surfing. We are planning our trip for August. Never been there and would like to know if waves are present.
If surfing is an option are there any shops that provide rental boards?

Oh yes. There is surfing and body surfing galore in OC.

We are from Pennsylvania and We love Ocean City!!
So we decided on a 8/4/12 wedding there. I already have the reception booked at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club.

How many boardwalk businesses will be open the entire week of May 13 - 19?
That's Cruisin OC week so almost everything will be open with the exception of some rides. But the boardwalk shops, bars, and restaurants will all be in full swing for the thousands of car enthusiasts that will be in town. Great time to come to OC!

Me and my fiance wer looking at getting married in ocean city on the beach. How much would that run?
Once you’ve decided on an Ocean City, Maryland wedding, your first step is to apply for a Worcester County marriage license. Call the Clerk of Court Office at 410-632-5500 to find out what’s required, and what documents are needed.
If you want to arrange a beach ceremony, call the Ocean City Mayor’s Office at 410-289-8931. You’ll need to provide someone to officiate, since Ocean City doesn’t have a Justice of the Peace.
You need to have permission from City Hall. There is no fee required, just a simple form.
To get a marriage license in OC, the fee is $35.00.

I would say at least half are open. The further up towards the inlet, the more likely they are open.

My boyfriend and I are planning to uproot from York, Pennsylvania and move to Berlin/Ocean Pines in about a year or so. Trying to plan ahead, does anyone have suggestions for best property listing websites, best places to look for jobs, banks, doctors offices, veterinarians, ect... I have lived in Ocean Pines and found it a great place....it is just off the hustle and bustle of OC but close enough to get anywhere you want easily.
The restaurant and hospitality industry is the best place to look for jobs. There are other jobs but those jobs are much more plentiful!

October is a great month to visit the beach. The water temps are still warm enough to swim until around the 15th.

You will find 85% of the bars open in April and all of them open in May.
