The best place to start is at http://www.ococean.com/accommodations .  You'll find quite a listing of Ocean City experts who can help you find the perfect spot for you and your family.

I have used Holiday http://www.holidayoc.com and Coldwell Banker  http://www.cbvacations.com in the past and been very happy.  We also like Long and Foster at http://www.lfvacations.com as well.  All three have been easy to work with and have great websites for easy searching.

And you can send for a free visitor guide for OC at www.ococean.com/vacation-guide

Hi. June is a nice time to visit. The days are usually in the upper 70's to low 80's and the nights can be cool where you  might need a sweater or light jacket.  The ocean water will still be cool but you'll find  many people in the water enjoying it.  It's usually in the upper 60's to low 70's in the water.  And be sure to check and see if any events are going on while you're visiting at http://www.ococean.com/events

Hi Insiders! What other rental agencies besides Coldwell banker and holiday OC are in Ocean City, MD? I've been using Coldwell banker for over 10 yrs but with a tight budget and all the fees its super pricey for a mini week for a family. We are looking for a 2 bedroom( to sleep 6, 2 different families) for June 14-17, 2018 oceanfront with a pool (under $700). Thanks in advance!

There are lots of rental agencies in OC you can see several of them on the OCOcean Accommodations rentals page. I've often used Coldwell, but I have often used Shoreline Properties (800.492.5832) and Vacation Rental By Owner (vrbo.com). I've had good experiences with all of these rental services.

Getting everything you want at this price might be a bit of a challenge. You may want to call an agency and see if talking to an agent will help you find a palace. Since this is early in the season, a vrbo option might be the best bet to fit within your budget, but you may need to wait and book closer to the last  minute when an owner is looking to fill a vacant spot.

Hello Insiders! I was hoping you could let me know if there are any soccer tournaments happening in OCMD around Saint Patrick's Day? Thanks!

The are several soccer tournaments at Northside Park in February and March, including an adult tournament on St. Patrick's Day weekend. Find out more here.

Registration for these tournaments closed on January 28, but if they have slots you might still be able to get a spot. You can contact the organizers from their webpage to see if you could still register a team.

If you are looking to play at one of OC's major events, like  Sunfest or Springfest, your best bet is to contact the Recreation and Parks Department's Special Events Group. They run Sunfest and Springfest do all the entertainment and vendor planning. You can reach them through their webpage or by calling 800.626.2326 or 410.250.0125.

If you are looking for a bar, club, or similar to play at, you need to contact the establishment directly. You can see a good list of places who have entertainment by looking at the Coconut Times' Whose When and Where page.

If you are looking for a minister or rabbi, etc. to perform your renewal, I would suggest finding a local church and contacting their church office.  Check this page and scroll down to places of worship for a list.   http://ococean.com/explore-oc/general-oc-information/

If you're looking for help doing the whole thing,  then please check out this page  http://ococean.com/beach-weddings/  It should answer all of  your questions.  Congratulations!

Hi Insiders! I was hoping you could help me out with some logistics for my upcoming wedding. I live in Pennsylvania, but am getting married in OCMD. I wanted to know where I could get a marriage license?

Hello Insiders! We will be in Ocean City celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday this July. We have been there and the boats that ride along the coast line sometimes have messages like happy birthday or happy anniversary. How would I go about getting a boat to have a message of Happy birthday for my daughter? Thank you!

There was only one boat that was doing that type of advertising last summer, the SeaBoard. To find out everything you need to know to get a message to your daughter, and maybe her picture too, call them at 443.235.1309 or take a look at their website.

You could also consider doing a banner plane message, although these are generally more expensive and less customizable than the SeaBoard. If you want fo find out about them take a look at the Ocean Aerial Ads website or call them at 410.641.2484.

I got the chance to meet owners for each of these businesses a few years ago. They are both really nice guys who seem easy to work with and who love what they do!

Hi Insiders! I was wondering if you could tell me if there have been any sharks spotted near the beach in OCMD? If so, what kind of sharks were spotted?

There have not been any sighted ever while we have been on the beach.  Sometimes the fin of a ray can be seen and that kind of looks like a shark, but there are typically no sharks sighted.  There are definitely sharks in the water - it is the ocean.  One amazing statistic that I hear every year is that Maryland has never had a reported shark attack.  It is the only state on the east coast to claim this.  You can see people catch sand sharks off the beach at night and you can take a shark boat out of MR Ducks that catches and releases sharks.  They go several miles off-shore though.  I do not think you have anything to fear.
