Yes, it is! It is open year round but the lifeguards are not on the beach after Labor Day.

Enjoy!

The beach is always open and free no matter what time of year it is. However there are  no lifeguards on duty then, so please don't go in the water farther than your knees.  Walking, sunbathing, and shell finding are always fun to do on the beach. Have a good time.

Yes! The beach is open year round! The guards will be off duty then though. I have often been on the ebach then and it can be very nice. I've even been in the water sometimes!. Many businesses in OC are open seven-days-a-week through Columbus Day (many are open year round too)

OC's beach is always FREE, public, and easily accessible.

The beach is open all year round!  It will be open in October, although lifeguards will not be on duty.  The weather is great for getting some sun and the water temp is still in the low 70's/upper 60's.

Hi Juan, yes the beach will be open. depending on how the weather is it's always nice for a walk during that time of year. I wouldn't recommend swimming as the lifeguards will not be on duty.
