We will be in Ocean City for Thanksgiving this year. We're looking for suggestions for places to eat. We would like to have a view of the water.

For a good traditional sit down dinner (I'm not a big fan of buffets), with a view of the water, I'd strongly suggest BJ's on the Water. As the name implies, it is located directly on the water with spectacular views of the bay. We ate Thanksgiving dinner here last year, and everything from the delicious food, to the friendly service, was completely on point, and its our intention to return again this coming Thanksgiving.

I have often been in OC for Thanksgiving with my family and can tell you it is lots of fun.

Here are a few places that are open every year and they offer great Thanksgiving meals:

Captain's Table (410.289.7192) A great OC restaurant in the Courtyard by Marriott at 15th Street that usually offers a Thanksgiving buffet ($27 for adults, $10 for kids). My brother's family ate there with my mom for the least few years for Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it! unfortunately, they do not have a water view.

The Victoria Room in the Dunes Manor at 28th Street offers is an excellent choice. Their dinning room overlooks the beach.

Fager's Island (410.524.5500) On the bay at 60th Street. They usually have a sit down service Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. (Note page is out of date). It is about $27 for adults and $13 for kids. They overlook the bay.

Clarion Horizons Room (410.524.3535) in the Clarion at 101st Street usually has a Thanksgiving Buffet with traditional fare and some seafood items too. They overlook the beach.

The Bonfire (410.524.7171) at 70th Street has their usual all-you-can-eat buffet, with traditional Thanksgiving items added. They have no water view.

No mater where you decide to go, you definitely want to call ahead and make reservations.

There is plenty to do in OC at Thanksgiving. Be sure to visit the Winterfest of Lights.

Have a great Thanksgiving in OC!

Fager's or the Hobbit offer a great meal with a nice bay view.  Just remember to ask for a table by the bay when you make a reservation.
