My husband uses a walker. Can he get on the tram with assistance?

Yes, as long as there is room- he will be able to take the tram with you!

Yes, he will be able to get on the tram with some assistance. Some areas of the trams have boarder spaces between seats, so look for those areas. Note that the Tram only has a few days left when it is running and it has very limited hours. After 24 September, it is done for the season. See this page for more info on the tram.

I have found there are lots of good hearted people willing to help someone board the tram.  He should not have any problems getting help onto the tram.

Hey Carol, My mom uses a cane and she has trouble getting on the tram. But they usually will help people get on and off of the tram. The staff on the tram are very friendly and helpful so your husband should have no trouble at all.
