In regards to the Wine Festival, how many wineries will be in attendance, and what are the limitations on amount of tastings. Any additional information is greatly appreciated!

I also do not recall anyone collecting tickets.  We probably sampled 40 wines when we went a few years ago.  They have some nice fruit-based wines and even a few chocolate wines.  All are interesting.

I recommend taking the bus to the event.  It is $3 to ride all day. :)

I went to Winefest for many years, but have not been able to make it for the last few years. My experience was that there were about 40 wineries from all over the country (see a partial list here) and that you really got an unlimited number of tastings. While you get 5 or 10 tasting tickets on entry, I can never remember being asked to turn one in. Most tastings are free (included in the price of the admission ticket), but some wineries have a small fee for tasting some of their higher-end products.

There are fourteen wineries scheduled to be there and four breweries, and thirty six vendors and live music.  When you enter, you are given a complimentary glass for your samplings.  You will also be given a page of "sampling tickets" that you will present to each winery when you sample.  There are usually around 20 tickets.  Keep in mind, that a sample is just that. It is a taste of each wine. There are water kegs all around the venue to rinse your glass before you get your next sample so the tastes don't clash.  You can purchase bottles of  your favorite wines as well.  All attendees must be over 21 to enter.  Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent.

It looks like the weather is going to be great this weekend too.
