As  of today (10/9/2013) the Sand Scultures are still there, although they have had some damage due to the weather in recent days. It is likely the artist will repair them once the weather clears a bit. Randy Hoffman is the sculptor. You can find out more about them at his website. You can also get a glimpse of them by controlling the Plim Plaza's webcam to point at them. You can access that webcam here.

If you like his art, Randy Hoffman is the featured artist at the Art League Gallery on 94th Street this month. Stop by when you are in town (it's cool and free) to see some more of his work.

It was still there last weekend.  We had a little rain here in MD so hopefully some of it will still be there.  Randy Hofman uses a mixture of water and glue and sprays it on the finished product to ensure it lasts longer.  Here is his website.  http://www.randyhofman.com/

You might see whatever remains from the summer, but it won't be perfect.  The sand sculpture has been an Ocean City landmark for years and I look forward to seeing every year.

The sand sculptures are maintained, so they should be there.

If you enjoy the sand sculpture, you may also want to check out the art in the Ocean Gallery also located on the boardwalk, the Lifesaving Museum, or the Art League located on 94th St., bayside.  All have really unique art and beach artifacts to look at.

Randy Hoffman does a good job maintaining the sculpture so it should still be out this weekend!
