Where is a good place to celebrate New Year's Eve for a group (ages 50-60) with age-appropriate music that doesn't not require an overnight stay or a package deal?

There are several good options available, although sometimes with 2 people it is cheaper to take one of their room specials, even if you don't use the room. Here are a few places that I am sure will offer a great time:

Fresco's (82nd Street) is having a NYE party with a 4 course meal, toasts, and live music from 8pm to 1pm. Cost is $95 per person. Call 410.524.8202 from more info and to make a reservation. More info can be found here. This is my top recommendation for you.

Clarion (101st Street) - Their New Year's Eve Gala is $145 per person an includes dinner buffet, dancing, and open bar until 1am. Reservations required. Call them at 410.524.3535 for reservations and more info.

Holiday Inn Oceanfront (67th Street) is having a party with dancing and a magician. This flyer describes the special with a room, but if you call 800.837.3588 you can find out about just attending thier NYE event.

Harpoon Hanna's (Route 54) is having a Ring in the New Year party starting at 9pm. Call 800.227.0525.

Have a great NYE in OCMD!

Hi Denise,

Check into Fager's Island.  They appeal to all ages.

on 138th St at Peaky's Roof TOp bar and Restaurnat inside the Fenwick Inn, you will find the live band "On The Edge".  You should like their music.  Call the hotel at 410-250-1100 for more info.

For a nice dinner, check out the Captain's Table at the Marriott on 15th St.  We dined their last year for New Year's Eve and were very impressed,

I'm 61 and I'm a big fan of Coins. They're on 28th St. and Philadelphia.  Excellent food, nice place.  For New Years, they have the band Full Circle playing.  I think you'd enjoy it. For reservations, call Charlotte at 410-430-5401.

Have a Happy New Year in OC!
