Yes, from Ohio take I-70 East to Baltimore. Then take the Baltimore Beltway north to I-95 North. You will go north of Baltimore on I-95 and go around the north side of the bay. Continue on I-95 into Delaware and get on Delaware Route 1 south. Take Delaware Route 1 south to Milford, DE and get on Route 113 south. Take Route 113 to either Route 90 East (for midtown or north OC) or Route 50 east (for south OC) to get to OC.

You can, but it will add at least another hour to your trip.  You would need to take 95 North past Baltimore and come down through Delaware.  But you will still have another large bridge that way as well.  The toll is only $4 and you only pay going east, not going back home.   If you are afraid to drive the bridge yourself, there are drivers available for a fee to drive your car for you .  Give this number a call to arrange a driver. 410-604-0486

Yes by going around the top part of MD into DE and down.

There are people who will drive you across the Bay Bridge if that might help. Here is an article on the Kent Island Express.

Only if you get on to I95 in Maryland north towards Philly and go south through Delaware.  You avoid the bay but you can not avoid the Delaware tolls

The tolls using the drive Darlene mentioned are close to $20 round-trip.  The Bay Bridge is only $4 an you save an hour of driving.  Plus there are two large bridges you have to cross taking 95N to route 1S.
