Me and a bunch of motorcycle riders are heading to OC for Delmarva in a couple of weeks and I would like to know the best sites to see and great places to eat. Also, we want to do some riding while we are there can you give me some suggestions on where we can venture off to?

Roseann,

Here's a similar question and corresponding Insider responses as to places to see -

Places to eat -
   * FishTales
   * Fager's Island
   * Seacrets
   * Phillips
You know, pretty much every restaurant in OC offers something special.  My suggestion would be to check out the local papers (available at realtor office, hotel lobbies, grocery stores, etc.) and see what restaurant is offering specials, entertainment, etc. which is to your group's liking.

Have a great "Bike Week" vacation!

You will definitely want to hit Seacrets, Hooters, Dead Fredddies, Fish Tales, MR Ducks, The Purple Moose, The Bearded Clam and the Cork Bar during your stay.  You are also going to want to bike over to West OC and visit the Harly shop and can stop at Harborside, Sunset Grille and Micky Fins on your way.  All of the places I have mentioned do something special for the bikers during Bike Week.  A nice ride, if you have the time to do it, is to take 50 to 113 south, take a left on RT 12 cross over into VA and take a left onto Chincoteague Road.  This takes you to Chincoteage and will take you about an hour to get down there.  It's an easy nice ride to take you away from it all.  Believe it or not they even have things set up for Bike Week as well.

One place that should be on your list to dine at is the new restaurant on the bay called "De Lazy Lizard"  Great food, reasonable drink prices, beautiful view, and fun fun fun!  They also have many large screens in two different locations on the property to watch any games that are on tv.  We enjoyed watching the Ravens win the other night!  When traveling south through Ocean City on Philadelphia Ave, turn right at 1st St (Right by Melvins Steak House) and go to the end.

Here are some pics I took from land and water from July and last weekend.

Not sure if you've checked out the bike week site or not, it has all of the events going on for bike week. You may want to sign up for Cruzin the Coast. http://www.delmarvabikeweek.com/

Some of my favorite places to eat are; Captain's Galley (in west OC), Fishtales(22nd st. bayside), and Bayside Skillet for breakfast(77th street).

Have a safe trip!

Roseann,

You can also try the "European Tour" of Delmarva.  Ride to Vienna, Berlin, and Snowhill all in the same day.  I hear it is a relaxing ride through historic towns.
