Myself, son and wife, daughter and 3 children, 4,3,and 2 are looking to rent a 3 bedroom condo for the week of 9/11 to 9/18/10. Will there be enough to do to keep the attention of the children? They are not overly fond of the ocean...but Grandma is!

The board walk is open all year!  You will also be here during Delmarva Bike week.  Even though your gamd children are young, they will get a kick out of watching all of the bikes ride by.  I think Grandma will too!

Fish Tales is a great, kid friendly resturant(on 21st st. bayside) I think you all will have a great time there for lunch or dinner.

You could also take the kids to Assateague to see the ponies.

Plus with bike week going on, I'm sure you all will have a great time!

Everyone presented some great answers.

The kids wil enjoy eating at the following restaurants:
Mackys
Dead Freddies
De Lazy Lizard
Fishtales

All of the above mentioned offer activites for kids.

Take them for an afternoon of fun to Northside Park up on 126th St.
There are baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a pond, a long pier that goes out into the bay, a pavillion, walking paths, and a large mother of all playgrounds for kids young and old to play in and wwear themselves out.  Oh, if I forgot to mention it, the park is FREE!

Hi Faye, The kids can go ice skating with grandma at the carousel! Or they can go to old pro golf that's my fav. Or you can all take a nice ride over to assategue island. There's shops open for grandma and the kids as well as the arcades.
