There are two major amusement parks on the boardwalk, Jolly Rogers at the Pier and Trimper's

Trimper's has more rides and has a large mix of rides from very tame kiddie rides to thrilling adult rides. You can get a list of just a few of them here. They have had wristbands good in the afternoon for the last several seasons. You can get wristband information here. There is often a coupon in the Sunny Day free magazine for a dollar or two off wristbands.

Jolly Rogers at the Pier is  more geared for teens and adults with few kiddie rides. They have fewer rides than Trimper's. You can see a list of their rides here. They also offer a wristband in the afternoon; more info on wristbands can be found here.

There is also Jolly Rogers Park at 30th Street. This is a great park with lots of kiddie and more thrilling rides, but it is not on the boardwalk. Ofteh the wristband for the Pier Rides is also good at the 30th Street park.

The boardwalk is 2.25 miles long and runs to 27th Street at the north end. The rides are at the south end of the boardwalk. You can walk to the rides easily along the boardwalk from any hotel south of 27th street. Hotels off the boardwalk in this are are also an easy ride to the parks.

OC has a great public transit system, so even if you stay further north you can ride the bus all day for just $3 to get to and from anywhere in town.

Have a great time in OC!

There are two amusements on the boardwalk. Jolly Rogers and Trimper's.  You'll find the usual things like a Tilt a Whirl, but you'll find other rides as well. There is also Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Water Park on 30th St.  You can find all of the info you want here: www.jollyrogerpark.com and here: http://www.trimpersrides.com/ . There are armbands available for both the boardwalk and the amusement park. There are plenty of hotels in the area.  Try to stay between the Inlet and 10th St.
