What activities are going on from April 27 to May 3rd - e.g. are restaurants and stores on the Boardwalk open. Some people indicate that most things are closed during the week at that time.
No big events early on but Springfest begins on May 3rd, so you may be there for the very beginning. Everything will be up and running for Springfest with the exception of some rides. But the boardwalk will be bustling with shops trying to open in time for the celebration.

You will find about 85% of all stores and restaurants open. Plus you can still find restaurant specials.

I agree with Darlene and Savas, most everything will be open on the Boardwalk that week. You might find they close earlier during the weekdays, but will be open later on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Oh my God! that is week full of activities in Ocean City,MD. I wish I was going that weekend. There is a kite festival on the beach around 6th street and a mini biker event there is also the humane society event for pets down in the inlet and a half marathon!!!Plus an art festival!! All of those events especially the first two will draw many people to the shore. Businesses are open now they will make sure that most are open that weekend to make some money with all the tourists in town for the events. have a blast
