I'm staying at the Courtyard Marriott with wife and two kids in early June. Any special events occurring that time that might interest the kids?

Enjoy your time in Ocean City!  A listing of events can be found here:  http://www.ococean.com/events.  Click on the See All Events Tab to see all the activities that week.  The OC Airshow is the prime event during early June.  It is amazing!

First thing to do is to send for a free Visitor Guide to make it easier for you to see all there is to do and see in OC.  www.ococean.com/visitor-guide

Okay, now you don't say what ages your children are, but there is something for every age to do.
Boardwalk
Boardwalk Rides
Jolly Roger Amusement Park (water park, rides, go karts, zip lines)
Fly kites
Visit the Life Saving Museum on the Boardwalk
Take a ride to Assateague and see the wild ponies.
Try parasailing.
Rent bikes and ride on the Boardwalk in the morning.
Play mini golf.
Play laser tag at Planet Maze.
Paintball.
Go to Frontier Town and watch a Wild West shootout and show.
Free movies on the beach during the summer:
27th St. Monday and Friday evenings from June 25 - August 10
Carousel Hotel on Wednesday evenings from June 13 - August 29
Princess Royale Hotel on Thursday evenings from July 5 - August 30
All movies begin at 8:30. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
Family Beach Olympics at 27th St. on Tuesday nights and is free.
Sundaes in the Park at Northside Park on 127th St.  Free concert (bring a chair) and you can make yourself a sundae to enjoy while listening to the concert. There is a small fee for the sundae.

And there may even be a big event going on while you're in town. Check out the full list of events at www.ococean.com/events

Most of all, the beach!  Relax and enjoy yourselves. You can rent chairs and umbrellas from any of the blue boxes you'll see lining the beach.  Rent by the day or week. They'll even put them up and take them down for you.

Have a wonderful time!

What family events are scheduled for June 2012? I'll be there with two toddlers in the second week of June, 6 - 9.

The OC Airshow is on the 9th.

Your toddlers will love Northside Park! They have a great park, playground and a pier. You should also consider a trip to the Salisbury Zoo. It is free, easy to walk, and fun. It is 40 minutes from Ocean City.

Any ideas where would be the best place to rent a speed boat for tubing with our teenage boys? Would need to rent the tube also. Thanks!

Last summer I rented a pontoon boat from Advanced Marine on 67th Street. It was a great boat and an excellent place to rent from. We had 13 people on the boat and pulled a rented tube too with no issue. They may also have speed boats.  They had a great morning special that made it the best deal I could find. They also have a great central OC location. They rent several different types and sizes of boats. We rented their largest pontoon boat and we had 13 people on it. We all fit fine and the boat still had plenty of power to pull a tube behind it. They rent tubes, and will sell you the tow rope for a fair price. I highly recommend them. Their phone number is (866) 577-3449.

No matter where you go I recommend calling ahead to reserve a boat.

Have a great time!

Our construction company is renting a large van and sending down 15 guys for a team building day in Ocean City. They are excited to do Go Karts and enjoy the restaurants. Any suggestions for the best way to find (legal)fun for a group of guys just on a daytrip? :) Thanks!

It all depends on what the guys are in too.
You could go fishing on a charter boat for a day or half day.
Golf at some great golf course in OC. Ride go-carts or the zip line at Jolly Rodgers.
Spend the day at the beach, soak in some rays and just relax. Go to Seacrets, have lunch and check out the great scenery it has to offer.Stroll the boardwalk, play games, shop, hit the arcades or bar hop. There is plenty to do in OC but you'll need to decide what to do. Have Fun.

YOu have to be 18 pretty much to ride alone on a wave runner at the majority of rental places in town.  Expect to pay a deposit as well.  All Wave runner and jet ski rentals are guided trips now.

Ayers Creek is a great place to go for all of your kayaking adventures.  They have adventures which cater to families, couples, during the day, and even a full moon kayak tour at night with a bonfire and wine/cheese afterwards.  Check them out at the following site:
